Please read these Template Policies carefully before purchasing any template from The Folio Studio. By completing a purchase, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these policies, our Terms & Conditions, and our Privacy Policy.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

Each template purchase includes access to the template files and/or links for the specific platform stated on the product listing page. A standard purchase includes one license for one project or business unless otherwise noted. Please review the full product description before purchasing to understand exactly what is included with each template.

LICENSING — WHAT YOU CAN & CAN'T DO

By purchasing a template from The Folio Studio, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use that template as described in this policy.

You may:

  • Use the template to build one website or project for yourself or one client

  • Customize the template with your own branding, content, and images

  • Reuse Canva, Notion, and Google Workspace templates multiple times within the same single project or business

You may not:

  • Resell, redistribute, share, or transfer the template files or links to any other person or entity

  • Claim the design as your own original work

  • Use the template to create a competing product — for example, repackaging it and reselling it as a template on any platform

  • Use one template purchase for multiple separate clients or projects without purchasing additional licenses

  • Sub-license or assign your license to another party

If you are building for a client: You may use our templates to build a website or project for a client, but you may not represent or promote the template design as solely your own original creation. The design remains the intellectual property of The Folio Studio.

Portfolio use: By purchasing and using our templates, you agree that The Folio Studio reserves the right to feature completed websites or projects built from our templates in our own portfolio, promotional materials, social media, and sales pages for demonstration purposes.

NO REFUNDS

All template purchases are final and non-refundable. Because our Products are digital and access is granted immediately upon purchase, we are unable to issue refunds, exchanges, or store credit under any circumstances. We strongly encourage you to review the template demo, product description, platform requirements, and FAQs before purchasing. If you have questions prior to buying, reach out — we'd rather answer your questions than have you purchase the wrong thing.

DEMO IMAGES & STOCK PHOTOGRAPHY

All images used in template demos are for demonstration purposes only and are not included in your purchase. All demo photography is copyrighted to its original creators. You are responsible for sourcing and replacing all images with ones you have the legal rights to use. The Folio Studio accepts no liability for any image licensing or copyright issues arising from your unlawful use of demo imagery.

Notion Templates

Your Notion template will be delivered as a duplicate link. One purchase grants one license for personal or business use within one workspace.

You may not share the template or resell it. If you are a consultant or agency setting up Notion workspaces for clients, each client project requires its own license.

PLATFORM-SPECIFIC POLICIES

Squarespace Templates

Your Squarespace template will be delivered as an invitation to a new Squarespace website, typically within 48 hours of purchase, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. If you haven't received your invitation after 48 hours on a business day, please contact us.

Please note:

  • You must accept the template invitation within 12 months of purchase. If the invitation expires or the free trial lapses before you accept it, you will need to repurchase the template.

  • If your Squarespace free trial expires before you upgrade to a paid plan, Squarespace may mark your site for deletion. The Folio Studio is not responsible for any lost content in this event.

  • Once the template has been transferred to your account, it is your responsibility. We cannot reverse accidental edits made to the template.

  • One template purchase = one website. If you wish to use the same template for an additional website, you must purchase an additional license.

  • If you purchase a Website + Sales Page bundle, both will be delivered together as one website unless you contact us before delivery to request otherwise.

Canva Templates

Your Canva template will be delivered as a shareable Canva link, typically within 24 hours of purchase. One purchase grants one license for use within one project or business. You may duplicate and reuse the template as many times as needed within that single project or business.

Please note:

  • You may not share the template link with others or use one purchase for multiple separate businesses or clients.

  • Some Canva templates may require a paid Canva plan (Canva Pro) for full functionality. Any such requirement will be noted on the product listing page.

  • Template customization is your responsibility. Canva template support does not include custom design modifications.

Notion Templates

Your Notion template will be delivered as a duplicate link, typically within 24 hours of purchase. One purchase grants one license for use within one personal or business workspace.

Please note:

  • You may not share the duplicate link or the template with others.

  • If you are a consultant or agency setting up Notion workspaces for clients, each separate client workspace requires its own license purchase.

  • Some Notion templates may require a paid Notion plan for full functionality. Any such requirement will be noted on the product listing page.

Google Workspace Templates

Your Google Workspace template (Docs, Sheets, Slides, or other) will be delivered as a copy link or downloadable file, typically within 24 hours of purchase. One purchase grants one license for use within one project or business.

Please note:

  • You may not share the template link or files with others outside your own use.

  • If you are setting up Google Workspace systems for clients, each separate client project requires its own license.

  • A Google account is required to use Google Workspace templates.

SUPPORT POLICY

We offer template support via email at [your email address] and aim to respond within 2 business days, Monday through Friday.

Support includes:

  • Help accessing or locating your template after purchase

  • Technical issues directly related to the template itself

Support does not include:

  • General platform questions (Squarespace, Canva, Notion, or Google)

  • Custom design or coding modifications

  • Software or device troubleshooting

  • Issues arising from changes you have made to the template

PRICING & CURRENCY

All prices listed on The Folio Studio website are in USD. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time without notice.

LIFETIME ACCESS

Where "lifetime access" is referenced for any product, this means access for the lifetime of The Folio Studio's business as currently operated. It does not guarantee lifetime updates to the template. If a template is retired or removed from our store, it will no longer receive updates. We will make reasonable efforts to notify customers of any significant changes.

THIRD-PARTY PLATFORMS DISCLAIMER

Our templates are designed for use on third-party platforms including Squarespace, Canva, Notion, and Google Workspace. The Folio Studio has no control over changes these platforms make to their interfaces, features, pricing, or functionality, and is not responsible for any impact such changes may have on our templates. The Folio Studio is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected to any of these platforms.
